They build an “Engenho de Aguardente” and in the same year, Mr. José Carlos starts the construction of an Alcohol Distillery.
The MORENO brothers build AGRÍCOLA MORENO LTDA., to develop the cultivation of sugarcane for exclusive supply to their Distillery under construction, using their own sugarcane varieties, combined with irrigation, fertilization and soil liming techniques , resulting in increased crop productivity.
